Ron is a lifelong advocate for youth education and equity, with over two decades of experience as an educator. He earned a B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Mathematics from Tuskegee University, followed by an M.Ed. in Middle Grades Education and an Ed.S. in Teacher Leadership from Mercer University. In addition to his educational background, Ron is passionate about personal finance, an equity market enthusiast, and an entrepreneur. He is a Certified Financial Education Instructor credentialed through the NFEC. Ron founded the investment club to foster financial literacy and create valuable learning experiences.
Treasurer
Travonnie has spent her career deepening the capability and confidence of others. She's a teacher and coach at heart who is constantly looking for opportunities to facilitate growth and Empact. With a B.B.A. from Howard University and a Masters in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University, she combines her passion for education and leadership development to enhance organizations. Travonnie is a fierce advocate for equitable access in talent system design and works to ensure people have excellent managers.
Secretary
Teneika is an engineer by nature, specializing in big data. She helps clients make the most of their data – both technically and strategically. Her mission is to improve access to big data and allow visualizations to serve as the voice of the business.
Adept at delivering detailed analytical reports, she leverages her tech savviness to create a pipeline of opportunities to pivot into data and tech careers and alleviate the technical assistance gap in entrepreneurship communities by driving growth for women and small businesses.
Rapheal is an accomplished professional that brings almost 20 years of progressive experience in finance, operations, and supply chain leadership across major corporations such as Chick-fil-A, Delta Air Lines, and Owens Corning. With an MBA in Finance and Global Management from Emory University and dual engineering degrees from the University of Michigan and Tuskegee University, he combines strategic financial acumen with a strong foundation in technical problem-solving. Notable achievements include leading multi-million dollar financial planning initiatives, mentoring diverse teams, optimizing operational efficiency, and driving cost-saving strategies across complex organizations. A collaborative leader with a passion for mentorship and community engagement, he is well-positioned to contribute strategic insights, financial oversight, and mission-driven leadership to support the nonprofit initiatives.
